Associate Pastor of Youth and Families - Temple Baptist Church - Jamestown, ND
Primary responsibilities of the Associate Pastor of Youth and Families:
To minister to TBC youth and their families, as well as building relationships with youth & families in Jamestown & surrounding communities. This person will be responsible to manage the existing Middle School (Gr. 7-8) and High School (Gr.9-12) programs.
To develop and manage Christ-centered youth ministry in coordination with and responsive to the direction of the Elder Board and Senior Pastor.

Qualifications:
- A growing relationship with Jesus Christ evident in daily life
- An appropriate educational background, seminary degree preferred
- A passion to see students “get it”
- Three to five years of Youth and Family experience preferred
- Full agreement with the North American Baptist Conference Statement of Beliefs
We are a growing church of 240+ members with an average Sunday attendance of 275.
We have a staff of three: Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor and Secretary.
We have an Elder Board with each elder overseeing a ministry team: Stewardship, Member care, Outreach, Worship, Children and Youth, and Discipleship.
We have been Outreach and Small Group oriented. A large number of college students attend.
Jamestown, North Dakota is a community of 15,000. It is the home of the world’s largest Buffalo. Jamestown has a small town feel, but offers amenities of a larger town. We are located 100 miles from Bismarck, 100 from Fargo and 100 miles from Aberdeen, SD. We are served by a good school system, good park district and an airport with daily service to Minneapolis. We are the home of Jamestown College.
