Hispanics for Christ
Our Mexico mission work has transitioned from a traditional geographic field (focusing on a country) to a demographic field (focusing on a people group). Through Hispanics For Christ, NAB is training Hispanic leaders and planting Hispanic churches in Canada, the US, Mexico, Central America and South America.
Hispanics for Christ exists to plant Spanish language churches and to train leaders for those churches. They provide vision casting, strategic planning, and coaching for church planters in the Americas.
HFC currently has church planters in the United States, Mexico, Peru, Chile and Argentina. They are currently initiating new works in the United States, Canada, Mexico, El Salvador, Paraguay, and Argentina.
HFC is an affiliate ministry of the North American Baptist Conference and works through many NAB churches in the United States to train them for ministry among Hispanics and to facilitate partnerships with our fields in Latin America. HFC also works with outside churches to help train their leaders for ministry among Hispanics.
In the field, Hispanics for Christ takes the training to the church planters. HFC has a leadership team of catalytic leaders who use a variety of resources with a “menu” approach to provide contextualized coaching to church planters across the Americas, from North America to South America.
