Continuing Term

Paul and Tanya Gericke

“Even  youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:30-31

The Gerickes have been serving at Central Baptist Church in Edmonton, AB where Paul has been on staff in Worship Ministries. Over the past years, Paul has been a part of numerous short term mission trips to Romania, and has built a relationship with the pastors and leaders. God has sovereignly moved in his life to bring him and Tanya to this point of decision to become missionaries in this setting.

Sarah Loane

Mrs. Sarah Loane of Sioux Falls, SD, is an NAB missionary appointee (Jan 25, 2011) who will serve as Coordinator/Trainer with Gateway Teams and will provide specialization to the growing Hispanic opportunities for mission partnerships.

Sarah has been an NABer for most of her life.  She has served as an intern with Gateway. She has devoted her education to cross culture studies and missions, and speaks both Spanish and Portuguese. What a perfect fit for our growing edge of missions in Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, and Mexico.

Becky grew up in Japan; her parents are NAB missionaries serving through the Tsu English Center at the Christian Education Center in Tsu.  The NAB missionaries serving in Japan and the Japan Baptist Conference are pleased to have Becky return to her "homeland" as a  continuing term missionary.
