Associate Chaplain – Meadowood Manor

Associate Chaplain – Meadowood Manor

The Best Little Personal Care Home in Winnipeg
Dignity, Respect, Love

Meadowood Manor is a personal care home with a difference. Understanding that the spiritual care of seniors is as important as the health care, Meadowood employs a full-time chaplain. The facility includes a chapel, which doubles as a fellowship hall, in order to meet the needs of those entrusted to our care. Programs are designed to care for the aging population in accordance with the values and ethics of the Baptist tradition. The Manor consists of eighty-eight individual rooms for residents in the Personal Care Facility, as well as a ten-story Elderly Persons Housing Facility consisting of eighty-nine suites.

The Associate Chaplain is under the direction and supervision of the Lead Chaplain and shall assist in the chaplaincy ministry of Meadowood Manor. This can include preparing and leading in morning devotionals, weekly Bible studies, and preaching during Sunday worship services. The Associate Chaplain will also assist in the visitation of residents, residents’ families, tenants, and staff of Meadowood Manor.
