Pastor – Elim Baptist Church

We are a small church in Beausejour, Manitoba, with about 25 people attending regularly. The congregation is predominately aged 50+. Beausejour is a growing town of 3,800 people. There is a thriving downtown, elementary and secondary schools, hospital, and well-equipped community centre. We are looking for a pastor who can live in town and faithfully minister God’s word to us Sunday by Sunday. He would also be available for visitation and spiritual guidance and give general oversight to all of the church ministries. The key need for our church right now is for a pastor to provide organizational stability and regular teaching and foster a welcoming atmosphere to those who come to our church who are seeking truth and connection in their lives. At the present time, this would be a half-time position with a half-time salary. A bi-vocational or semi-retired pastor would be ideal for this position. Hopefully, as time goes on and the church grows, this would turn into a full-time position.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree from Bible school/college.
• A spirit of devotion to God’s work and compassion for God’s people.
• A desire to reach out to those who are without Christ in their lives.
