Executive Pastor – Pittsford Community Church

The ideal candidate is a mature, committed Christian who is also committed to discerning and being led by the Holy Spirit. This person must have experience with leading organizations, as well as creating systems and processes that help those organizations achieve their goals. We are looking for a strategy-minded ministry leader who is gifted in their ability to lead staff and volunteers in the execution of ministry strategies. This person is expected to align ministry efforts to the vision of the lead pastor and to the overall discipleship pathway of the church – Love God, Love One Another, Serve the World.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A mature and active personal relationship with Christ.
• A lifestyle congruent with the biblical requirements for elders/leaders.
• A calling to pastoral ministry.
• A master’s degree in ministry leadership, business, or a related field.
• Experience managing large teams in either the church or business world.
• Excellent verbal communicator: comfortable speaking before large groups of people.
• Able to lead others with humility, speak the truth in love, and deal wisely with conflict.
• Agreement with the church’s statement of beliefs.
• Willingness to use technology to help the church further its ministry goals.
• Ability to love and engage people of all generations in the ministry of the church.
