Senior Pastor – Bay Park Baptist Church

We are currently seeking a senior pastor to lead our small but growing and diverse Baptist church community here in Saskatoon. The ideal candidate will have a strong spiritual calling and be passionate about leading the church to make disciples and preaching the word of God. They should have a strong leadership skills and be able to inspire and motivate members of the congregation.

Responsibilities:

• Preach sermons that are engaging, thought-provoking, and relevant to the lives of members
• Provide spiritual guidance and support to members of the congregation
• Lead worship services
• Oversee the church’s outreach programs and mission efforts
• Build strong relationships with members of the congregation and the wider community
• Collaborate with the church Board and volunteers to achieve common goals

Requirements and Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in theology or related field
• Relevant ministry experience
• Good public speaking and preaching skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Passionate about spreading the word of God and making a positive impact in the community
