Steamboat Rock Baptist Church is seeking a senior pastor to provide spiritual leadership, vision, and oversight for our congregation. The senior pastor will serve as the primary preacher and teacher of God’s Word, guiding the church in alignment with our core values: Biblical Teaching, Engaging Worship, Reaching the Next Generation, Small Groups, and Community Engagement. This role requires a passionate, biblically grounded leader who can inspire and equip the congregation to grow in faith and impact the communities we serve.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear calling to pastoral ministry.
• A man whose spiritual qualifications conform to 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9.
• Master of Divinity or equivalent theological education from an accredited institution.
• Ordained minister (or willing/eligible to be ordained within 5 years).
• Strong biblical knowledge and ability to teach theological concepts in an accessible manner.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a multigenerational congregation and staff team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a heart for evangelism and community engagement.
• Experience in mentoring leaders.
• Aligns with Steamboat Rock Baptist Church’s doctrinal statement and values.
• Aligns with the NAB doctrinal Statement of Beliefs.
