A Year of Bonfire

God is at work in our NAB churches and a Missional/Formational movement is forming as we lean into a renewed theological vision of the church on mission.

Over the last few years, Bonfire has become a gathering of NAB leaders who have given themselves to this missional/formational movement, and who gather together to throw some more wood on this fire that God has started. Bonfire is a time to build a deep community with one another, receive inspiration and continue training together.

As we navigate the changes that are happening around the world, we want to do something different with Bonfire this year. From October 2020 – July 2021, we’ll be meeting monthly for A Year of Bonfire. It will be a time to come together as leaders on this missional/formational journey to attend to what God may be up to in our churches and our respective countries. We want to take time together to reflect on what God is doing in us and through us and within the communities we’re leading. Our prayer is that as you engage with the Bonfire community that you’ll be encouraged, inspired and refreshed as you lead through the uncertainties of this season.

If you have been through Ethos or Blue Ocean, and haven’t already signed up to join us for our Year of Bonfire gatherings, contact Sara-May Cardy: scardy@nabconf.org  to be added to the mailing list and to register for the next call.

If you’d like to know how your church can get involved with Ethos, Blue Ocean or the Discovery Project, contact Cam Roxburgh, VP of Missional Initiatives: croxburgh@nabconf.org
