Christmas Resources

Give to the Christmas Offering

The Christmas season is a celebration of God the Father giving His Son to the world as part of the process of redeeming all things to Himself. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given” (Isaiah 9:6 ESV). This is the most extravagant gift ever given, and we are invited to take part in the continual sharing of this gift of Jesus with the world around us.

One of the North American Baptist communities that has sought to share the gift of Christ year round is Century Baptist Church in Bismarck, North Dakota. In a variety of ways, they have shared the gift of Jesus through acts of love and service and through intentional relationships.

It is the vision of the NAB International Office to see every NAB church equipping their people to reach into their neighborhoods with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to provide every NAB pastor and leader who desires it with the resources and training to equip them in this monumental effort. One of the main funding sources for this sort of missional training comes through the Ministry Resource Fund.

Here are a few ways you and your church can get involved:

  • Include inserts with every bulletin on a set Sunday in December and ask your congregation to consider a gift to the NAB above and beyond their usual to help equip other leaders and churches for missional impact.
  • Take a special offering for this effort in a service sometime in December.
  • Give a special gift from your church’s general fund or surplus to NAB’s Ministry Resource Fund.
  • Take time throughout December to show our Christmas videos featuring those at Century Baptist Church sharing about how they are giving the gift of Christ.

All of these available resources are below. If you need offering envelopes or different materials, please contact, and we will gladly provide them for you. Be sure to request offering envelopes no later than December 7 in order to receive them in time.
