Continuing Term

Bud and Lois

Both Bud & Lois grew up in Christian families and were led to Christ by a parent at a young age. They both attended the same Christian camp.

In 1983, they answered the call to go to Cameroon where Bud served as the youth director of the Cameroon Baptist Convention. Two years later, both he and Lois were teaching at Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary. Their third son, Jon, was born their second year in Cameroon.

Because of family health issues, they returned back to North America where Bud served as a pastor for NAB churches in North Dakota, then on staff as the associate director of missions for NAB, then Burlington, ON, and Gig Harbor, WA, where their fourth son, Joe, was born.

Paul and Tanya Gericke

“Even  youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:30-31

The Gerickes have been serving at Central Baptist Church in Edmonton, AB, where Paul has been on staff in Worship Ministries. Over the past years, Paul has been a part of numerous short term mission trips to Romania, and has built a relationship with the pastors and leaders. God has sovereignly moved in his life to bring him and Tanya to this point of decision to become missionaries in this setting.

Julie Stone

Raised in a Christian home, Julie accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at age ten.  She says, "It was not until college that I acknowledged Jesus' authority to be my Lord as well as my Savior.  I now take great delight in the fact that I am not my own.  The Lord has been truly gentle and merciful in His dealings with this sheep.  Hence, my greatest desire is to follow the Shepherd wherever He leads."

Lyndell Campbell

Lyndell Dawn Campbell and Paulo André Réquia were united in marriage at Central Baptist Church (in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil) on Saturday, November 27, 2010. Pray that God would use them as a couple for His glory.
Lyndell explains about her name change: "For now my name will remain the same in the northern hemisphere until I can get there to see about making official changes, but as for in the future, it will be Lyndell Dawn Campbell Réquia.  The actual pronunciation in Portuguese is 'heckya' with emphasis on the first syllable.  I guess in english it would be 'wreckya' with the emphasis on the first syllable again.  Hope that helps!"
