Worship Coordinator – Steel Heights Baptist Church

Steele Heights Baptist Church (SHBC) seeks a Spirit-filled and dynamic part-time Worship Coordinator. This new position is a result of our multi-site Sunday morning format that has been meeting on-site in the Steele Heights gym and, Lord willing, transitioning off-site to a new location in the fall of 2026. It is an exciting opportunity for a growth-minded leader dedicated to building, coordinating, and providing leadership to the worship ministry at our new multi-site plant at SHBC.

In conjunction with the site pastor and leadership team, they will oversee the development, improvement, and planning required for Sunday worship and special seasonal services, including, but not limited to, music, media and live streaming, creative arts, tech team, leading, and recruiting and equipping volunteers for worship ministry.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Born-again believer in Jesus Christ.
• Leadership abilities.
• Served in a church with multi-site or multi-service (preferable).
• Skilled and experienced musician and worship leader.
• Working knowledge of necessary media and digital technology associated with dynamic worship style and online access.
• Works well in a team setting and is positive and loving.
• Agreement with the Church’s Statement of Faith (see www.shbc.ca).

Special Notes

Terms of Ministry Assignment: Part-time, year-to-year contract.
Weekly Hours: 10 hours per week; 6 hours per week for preparation and team development and 4 hours during the Sunday Service (11:00 am worship service).
Pay: We offer a competitive hourly wage.
Position Begins: Immediately.
