Interim Pastor – Hollyview Church

The ideal interim pastor will lead the church through a time of transition as a teaching and shepherding pastor. He will help the congregation prepare for the next pastor and the changes that come and is equipped to guide the church in any needed changes. He will promote unity and healing and work with the church leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide a biblically based preaching and teaching ministry a minimum of three times a month.
• Support the Elders, Deacons, and other teams and attend meetings as needed/requested.
• Provide consistent biblically based leadership to congregation and church leadership.
• Perform various other duties pertaining to the office of pastor as necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Completed masters in Biblical Theology or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a called pastor or interim pastor.
• Fulfill qualifications as listed in 1 Timothy 3:2–7 and Titus 1:6–9.
• Experienced in preaching expository sermons.
