The purpose of Emerging Leader Engagement within the NAB is to engage, equip, and elevate young leaders to lead the NAB into the future. But it’s not just the future we are concerned about. We believe these are the very leaders we need to be working alongside and elevating for today. This is by no means an attempt to replace the current leadership; this is instead adding on to what already is through throwing open the gates, pulling up a folding chair to the circle, and creating more room at the table.
What this looks like will continue to grow and transform. In the meantime, we will focus on things like regional connections for emerging leaders, where youth workers are connected via local clusters, as well as The Landing, a place for youth workers to receive resources for ministering to the teenagers in their culture and context.
