Women’s Ministry Director – Sunrise Community Church
Sunrise Community Church is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Women’s Ministry Director to join our Discipleship Ministries team. This role is instrumental in crafting and leading initiatives that nurture and grow the women’s community within our church. The Women’s Ministry Director will work closely with the Pastor of Discipleship, Elder Team, and Senior Pastor to ensure the ministry aligns with the mission and vision of Sunrise Community Church.

Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ ministry experience
- Agree with Sunrise Community Church’s Statement of Faith
- Be able to work with a large team of volunteers and employees
Key Responsibilities
- Women’s Ministry Team Leadership
- Oversee the Women’s Ministry Team, including the strategic addition of team members and coordinating volunteers for all events.
- Collaborate closely with team members on event planning and execution, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Event Planning and Coordination
- Organize a minimum of one major annual event, such as the Women’s Christmas Breakfast, that brings together the women of our community for fellowship, worship, and spiritual growth.
- Plan and execute monthly women’s events with a variety of formats and themes, ranging from outdoor adventures and breakfast gatherings to movie nights, ensuring a rich and engaging community experience.
- Sunrise Moms Ministries
- Enhance and develop the Sunrise Moms program, dedicating three hours weekly to support and grow this vital part of our women’s ministry. This includes organizing events, resources, and support networks that cater specifically to the needs of mothers within our community.
- Family and Children’s Ministry Collaboration
- Work closely with the Kids Ministry to coordinate and support larger family-oriented events, ensuring a cohesive and inclusive approach to church family activities.
- Culinary Coordination
- Coordinate with the church’s culinary staff for all events involving food, ensuring meals and refreshments contribute to the welcoming and nurturing environment of each gathering.
- Bible Study and Education
- Oversee the Women’s Bible Study curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the church’s theological direction and meets the spiritual needs of the community. This includes coordination with those responsible for Adult Sunday Schools.
- Actively develop, enhance, and possibly teach during Sunday school sessions for at least one service, providing educational and spiritual growth opportunities tailored to women.
- Hospitality Team Leadership
- Oversee the hospitality team, including greeters, ushers, and information booth volunteers, to ensure a warm, welcoming, and well-informed environment for all church attendees and visitors.
