CCRF Thirty-eight Month Report – Click Here to Review Report
In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the parable of the sheep and the goats. He states that when His followers feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, cloth the naked, care for the sick, and look after the prisoner, they are performing these deeds to Christ Himself.
Beginning in November 2018, the NAB family was given the opportunity to live this parable out with our brothers and sisters in the Cameroon Baptist Convention due to the ongoing civil conflict in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon. The conflict has resulted in over 3,000 deaths, close to 70,000 refugees in neighbouring countries, close to one million internally displaced persons, and over 700,000 children and adolescents prevented from attending school for four years. Hundreds of villages have been destroyed.
Learn more about the Crisis Relief Fund and its amazing impact in the attached report. Thousands of individuals are being assisted with medical bills, education costs, trauma care, food, clothing, and so much more. Each of these is a story of the hungry being fed, the thirsty receiving drink, the stranger being welcomed, the naked being clothed, the sick being cared for, and the prisoner being looked after. In other words, in literally thousands of ways this report is about Christ being ministered to and glorified by your generosity. It is not a report about numbers; it is a report of the Gospel being proclaimed and the inbreaking of the Kingdom of God into this present age. It is a report of God providing peace amid chaos and light amid darkness.
On behalf of the NAB and in unison with our brothers and sisters in the Cameroon Baptist Convention, thank you. Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for serving and glorifying Christ in this way. Thank you for your ongoing partnership in the proclamation of the Gospel and the inbreaking of the Kingdom.
The work in Cameroon continues. There is still no end in sight for the conflict; pray that God would intercede in a supernatural way. But let us not grow weary in doing good.
