Missional Initiatives Team


The following individuals are part of the Missional Initiatives Team, helping to plan, guide, lead, coordinate, and host all of the missional initiatives programs.

Cam Roxburgh
VP of Missional Initiatives and Missional Initiatives Team Lead

Cam is a member of the NAB Executive Team, charged with the task of creating a missional movement within the NAB Conference, a role he has held since 2011. Cam is also the senior pastor of a local church in Surrey, British Columbia, and the national director for Forge Canada, a a network of missional leaders across Canada that works alongside similar networks in half a dozen other countries around the world.

 
 

Deb Judas
Missional Initiatives Administrative Assistant and Director of Formation

Deb holds a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry with Carey Theological College. She is a minister, leadership coach, wellness coach, and director of formation with Forge Canada. She is also the author of Cultivating Shalom, a book on Psalm 23.

 
 

Merv Budd
Equipping Evangelist

Merv is the lead pastor of North Burlington Baptist Church in Burlington, Ontario. He holds a bachelor of Theology degree from Tyndale College, a doctor of Mininistry degree from Regent College, and a doctor of Practical Theology degree from McMaster Divinity College. Merv calls Ontario home.

 
 

Luke Miller
Missional Initiatives Teaching Team

Luke is the lead pastor of Sunrise Community Church in Sacramento, California, moving from Saskatchwan. He is originally from Victoria, British Columbia. He holds a master of Arts in Hebrew Bible and a PhD in Old Testament.

 
 

Matt Styles
Missional Initiatives Teaching Team

Matt currently serves as the campus pastor at Univerity of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Previous to that, he served as a lead pastor in both rural and city churches in South Dakota. Matt earned his master of divinity degree from Sioux Falls Seminary (now Kairos).

 
 

Karen Wilk
Neighbourhood Life

Karen leads a microchurch in her community in Edmonton, Alberta, having been a part of church leadership for over thirty years. She holds a doctor of ministry degree with distinction in Missional Leadership from Northern Seminary and works with Forge Canada.

 
 

David Williams
Missional Initiatives Teaching Team

David is the president of Taylor Seminary (Kairos) and Professor of Theology and Ethics. He holds a PhD from Drew University, an MPhil and an MA from Denver Seminary, and a BA from Dallas Baptist College. He resides in Edmonton, Alberta.
