On Mission in North America

A Missionary God and His Missionary People

North American Baptists have a strong history as a missionary people, but that means much more than simply sending missionaries to other countries. Just as God sent His Son as a missionary, each of us, as followers of God, is also sent into our own communities and neighborhoods. It is often our responsibility to be the only representative of Jesus that some of our neighbors will ever meet. To take part in North American missions is to be Jesus in the setting God has placed us.

The North American Missions of the NAB

There are a variety of ways to join God on mission in North America. This includes church planting, leadership formation, and missional training. Above all, the purpose of North American missions is to enable NAB churches in Canada and the United States to better equip followers of Jesus to be a missionary people in their own culture. Here you will find just some of the formal ways you can connect with where God is already at work.
