At the Mbingo School for the Deaf, hearing-impaired children have the opportunity to be educated and integrated into society. Contributions help offset living and tuition expenses of the two hundred students at the school.

At the Banso School for the Blind, visually impaired children have the opportunity to be educated and integrated into society. Many have been left as orphans. Over 40 percent of Cameroon’s 20 million people are under the age of fifteen. With this many children seeking and needing education, there is a continual challenge to maintain school infrastructure. Many schools have leaking roofs, mud floors, and inadequate desks. Your gift will help to provide conducive learning environments for children attending the Cameroon Baptist Convention’s more than eighty primary schools.

One course of chemotherapy is equal to half a year’s wage for the average Cameroon laborer. Your gift of $600 will subsidize the cost and make this life-saving treatment available to patients in need.

Funds provide education and health support for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS and other disasters and diseases. Cameroonian national missionaries are teaching the least-reached peoples of Cameroon. While Cameroon Christians support the basic salaries of these missionaries, most have no ministry funds. Contributions will provide these national missionaries with Bibles, literature, or even a motorcycle in order to reach the people to whom they were sent.

For Christian Fulbe, bringing the Good News about Jesus to other Fulbe people is the ultimate goal, but the three priorities are interconnected, with no single project progressing without the other two also moving ahead. Education and community development are entered into strategically so that the Gospel will be promoted. All together, these projects are leading to lives transformed by Jesus Christ to the glory of God.

Many seminary students do not have sufficient funds to cover their education expenses. By working to help maintain the large school campus, they can earn money that is applied to their tuition. Contributions are used to pay these students who work maintenance jobs.

Extreme poverty among a minority ethnic group in East Asia makes basic education unaffordable. Funds for this project will go toward the purchase of a good condition used vehicle.
