Cameroon/Nigeria – Least Reached People Group

Cameroon/Nigeria – Least Reached People Group
Goal: Ongoing

Evangelism, education, and community development are the three priority projects of the least reached people group we serve in Cameroon and Nigeria. Our three priorities are interconnected, with no single project progressing without the other two also moving ahead. For Christians in their faith communities, bringing the Good News of Jesus to others is the ultimate goal. Education and community development (including humanitarian aid) are entered into strategically so that the Gospel will be seen, experienced, and promoted. All together, these projects are leading to lives being transformed by Jesus Christ to the glory of God.

Cameroon ICU & Oxygen/Suction Equipment

ICU & Oxygen/Suction Equipment
Goal: $130,000

There is a growing need for an updated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and a hospital-wide oxygen and suction system in the patient rooms to greatly improve the patient care at Mbingo Baptist Hospital. CIMS Internal Medicine graduates with ICU training, coupled with these upgrades – new basic ventilators, more infusion and syringe pumps, BIPAP machines, a blood gas analyzer, and an oxygen and suction system – will make a major difference in the quality of care, especially within the surgical and ICU areas of the hospital. Through the generosity of NAB donors, the oxygen system was completed in early 2021. The remaining suction system and other ICU upgrades now need funding to complete.

This project would provide clean and consistent electricity and would become one more piece of the plan to establish the Mbingo hospital as a premier teaching hospital in Cameroon.
