Books selected for the NAB Heritage Collection have one or more of the following attributes:

• Pertaining to German Baptist history, beliefs, or practices
• Formerly cataloged in the seminary library when it was located in Rochester, New York, and containing the library imprint or seal
• Owned and autographed by prominent German Baptist pastors and leaders
• Written by NAB authors

The books date from 1711 to the present. Some recent acquisitions tell of the experiences of the Baptists who were Germans from Russia and suffered persecution and other hardships. These books are cataloged and appear in the Online Computer Library Center catalog of holdings throughout the world. In some cases we have one of only three to four known to exist. You need to know an author or title to locate these books, which are organized by the Library of Congress classification system.
