Faith in Action

Each year at the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast in Kokomo, Indiana, one individual is given the Faith in Action Award.

This year, the honor was given to one the NAB’s own: Jeff Russell, lead pastor of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship.

Jeff has attended nearly every prayer breakfast since the first one twenty years ago. “Ever since that first mayor’s prayer breakfast,” he said, “I have sought to show up and pray with those in our community. The only years I didn’t show up were years when I was fighting cancer.”

This award is given each year in recognition of the work that individual has done for God in the local community.
