This month we focus our hearts, minds, and resources on the Word of God—accepting it as our doctrine AND as a transforming element of our lives. May we proclaim it to people everywhere as it changes us from the inside out.
The Summit—Register by March 25!
The deadline to register for this year’s youth workers retreat is coming up!
Every three years, the YMLT hosts The Summit, inviting NAB youth pastors and youth workers, and their spouses, to gather as one to:
- Build relationships across the NAB family and network with other leaders.
- Learn a variety of ministry ideas and strategies and share from their own experiences.
- Be challenged and encouraged in ministry efforts/goals.
- Create space and time for personal soul care and reflection.
We firmly believe that this time together praying, worshiping, and connecting can be a life-giving few days.
Sign up now or get your own church’s youth workers signed up to attend The Summit in Phoenix, Arizona, April 23–26! Click below for all the details and registration information!
Upcoming Leadership Webinar
Don’t forget to sign up for the upcoming Leadership Webinar with Brian Sanders, founder and executive director of the Underground Network, an international coalition of missional churches united by the prophetic call to love the poor, reach the lost, and seek biblical justice. Brian’s book Underground Church is a fascinating and challenging story of a network of missionally-oriented “micro-churches” in Tampa, Florida, and the values and activities that drive this missional enterprise.
If I lived in Tampa I’d join the Underground. Seriously. It’s the most exciting and thoroughly missional church I’ve encountered on my travels. The whole missional thing isn’t a theory or a conversation or even a paradigm for those guys. It’s a way of life! —Michael Frost, author of The Shaping of Things to Come
Get the book and a group of leaders to discuss it with, and join us on March 21, at 11:00 am PDT. Click the link below to get more details and to register.

Missionary of the Week
Julie Stone, NAB Missionary in Cameroon. Under normal circumstances, Dr. Julie Stone serves in Cameroon at Banso Baptist Hospital, but due to the ongoing crisis in Cameroon, she has primarily been working at Mboppi Baptist Hospital, though she has also spent time at the health center in Bamenda and at Mbingo Baptist Hospital. Her duties mostly focus on teaching, but she also cares for patients, which she considers a privilege because she is free to share the truth of Jesus and what He has done to deliver people from the second death. Pray for the ongoing strife in the areas around Banso Baptist Hospital, as well as the overall situation in Cameroon. Pray as well for the successful commencement of the chemotherapy program at Mboppi Baptist Hospital. You can find more information about Julie’s ministry online at nabonmission.org/missionaries/julie-stone.
