The NAB is (re)launching our podcast!
A few years back, we released a limited series podcast that focused mostly on church planting, but we are excited to announce that we are ready to launch the next series of 8 episodes, with Drew Steinhart, pastor of Disciples Church in Medina, Ohio, hosting these conversations. Here’s what Drew has to say about the podcast:
Over the past few years I’ve had the privilege of being involved with the NAB’s EYELET team. Shortly after joining the team, we were asked to consider how we might lend our voices and energy to the NAB’s ongoing work. As an avid podcast listener, I got excited about the idea of amplifying stories of God’s faithfulness from across the NAB family. Wayne Stapleton and others affirmed this idea, and the NAB Stories podcast was born!
Each episode of NAB Stories will introduce a member (or two!) of the NAB family, invite us to consider how we can faithfully discern God’s presence around us, and join God in what he’s doing to build his Kingdom. My hope is that through this podcast we’d be encouraged by the ways God is moving across the NAB and inspired to cultivate a greater attentiveness to the movement of God’s Spirit in our own lives. It’s been a joy to hear some of the incredible journeys of men and women across the NAB, and I trust their stories will be an encouragement to you as well.
The trailer episode is now live on the NAB website, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify, and you can subscribe on Apple Podcasts or Spotify. New episodes will release twice a month starting in April.
Every year, we invite every NAB church to set aside the Sunday before Palm Sunday as Spring Missions Sunday, a day to share stories of what God is up to through NAB International Missions and raise money to support NAB missionaries in fields around the world.
This year, Spring Mission Sunday is scheduled for April 6, 2025.
To help you and your church in preparation for Spring Missions Sunday (www.springmissions.com), we have made a few resources available for you to use, including a widescreen and standard slides, bulletin inserts, and even social media graphics and a variety of logos for this year’s Spring Missions Offering. This year’s Multipliers Summit, April 28–30, is going to be a bit different, and we are so excited! Beyond even the change in venue, we are changing a bit of the format as well.
We are still convinced the trajectory of any church multiplication effort begins with who we are becoming, so the focus on soul care for the multipliers who attend will continue to be center stage. We also still believe we are all on this journey together, that healthy church multiplication does not happen in isolation, so we will, as always, dedicate time to testimonies from NAB multipliers on where God has led them this past year.
However, rather than centering our sessions together around an outside speaker, this year we wanted to hear from leaders already in our midst who have much to share with the rest of us. These times will focus on three themes:
- Being With Jesus
- Becoming Like Jesus
- Doing the Things Jesus Did
Everyone who attends Multiplier Summit is also invited to stick around an extra day to participate in Bonfire. Next week we will highlight what this year’s Bonfire gathering will look like.
