After retiring as NAB missionaries in 2022, Vern and Gloria Wagner are returning to Camp Falcon Rock in Romania for one year of service!
Though they left the field in 2021, their hearts for the people of Romania and ministry at Camp Falcon Rock have never waned. They initially felt God’s call to this place and these people during a two-week mission trip in 2015, and only one year later they had moved to Romania to serve full time at the camp.
For the next year, Vern and Gloria will join the rest of the team at Camp Falcon Rock – NAB missionaries Paul and Tanya Gericke and NAB global missionary partners Tamas and Tunde Modi – all of whom are excited for the Wagners’ return. In addition to jumping back into helping to continue develop the camp and work with the staff serving the campers, the Wagners are looking forward to rekindling relationships with local churches and others in the communities surrounding Camp Falcon Rock.

Time is nearly up for you to register for the next cohort of Blue Ocean before registration closes August 31.
Blue Ocean is an entry point into the missional movement of the NAB in which NAB leaders engage in what it means to join God on mission, be formed into the character of Christ, and learn what it means to be a sent people. The cohort meets three times throughout the year and has been a formative piece to the NAB in recent years.
The first gathering takes places October 20–23, 2024, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and covers the topic “Missional Theology – Joining in with the God of Mission.”
The second gathering is in February 2025 in Auburn, California, with the final one taking place in April 2025 in Chicago, Illinois.
