To Help You Pray

We are so thankful for those God has called to serve in our various international ministry fields. One of the key methods through which we support our NAB missionaries is prayer. In an effort to assist the churches, families, and individuals who pray for our NAB missionaries, we thought we would periodically send out short videos created by these very international ministry partners. Our hope is that seeing them in the field, in their ministry context, will assist you all in identifying with their needs and allow you to hear directly from them what to pray for.

Claire Marker, who serves with her husband, Tim, at the Bicol Center for Christian Leadership in the Philippines, submitted this video showing us their current prayer needs as they minister to the students and community around them. Let us keep their ministry lifted up in prayer as they contend with flooding and its impact.

Please feel free to share this video in your worship gatherings, small groups, or Bible studies as you pray for Claire, Tim, and the Bicol Center and its students.

Are you curious about the future of the Church? Are you struggling to understand this next generation and how to disciple and equip them to participate in the mission of your local church? Do you wonder how God might be calling and equipping Gen Z in this unique season? These are the kinds of questions we need to wrestle with and discuss as the NAB community. Gen Z is the future of the NAB, and yet at the same time, they are also the church now – so how might we as a conference of churches empower and equip these young leaders today?

In this webinar, hosted by the NAB Emerging Leaders, Paul and Tanya Gericke will guide us about who Gen Z is as a people group and culture, provide clarity on their strengths and challenges, and help us consider discipleship implications for this generation. We seek growth and development to help us come alongside and equip these young people. Whether you’re a ministry leader, parent, youth worker, or member of Gen Z yourself, you’re invited to join us for a pertinent discussion about each of our callings to participate in how God is stirring up this next generation for his Church.

Registration for the webinar is not yet available, but feel free to add the event to your calendar using one of the links below.

Spring Missions 2025

Every year, we invite every NAB church to set aside the Sunday before Palm Sunday as Spring Missions Sunday, a day to share stories of what God is up to through and raise money for NAB International Missions.

This year, Spring Mission Sunday is scheduled for April 6, 2025.

The resources are still in the process of being put together, but you can visit springmissions.com to find the resources once they available. Additionally, as we move toward the season of Lent leading up to Easter, the NAB is once more providing free daily devotionals to assist you in this reflective season.

These devotionals, written by pastors and leaders from across the NAB are designed to help us look at the story of the cross and the larger redemptive narrative through the lens of unity. Sign up at the link below. And you can also find materials to help you promote the devotionals in your church, small group, Bible study, or wherever, as well as the full slate of devotionals in advance of the first day of Lent on March 5 (once they are available).
