New interim executive director

Dear NAB Family,

On behalf of the governing board I am happy to announce that Rev. Dan Heringer has accepted the call to serve as the interim Executive Director of our conference. Dan has served in the NAB for his entire ministry career as director of God’s Volunteers/New Day, pastor, church planter, director of leadership development, and as regional minister of the Central Plains Region. For the past five years Dan has also served on the Executive Committee and the Governing Board. Dan comes to this position recommended by numerous leaders from across the NAB. He will begin in this position on May 1 and will continue as Interim until we are able to place a new Executive Director. The goal for that is next July at our Triennial Conference in St. Paul, MN. Please keep praying as we now appoint a search committee to begin this process in earnest.  Thank you for your prayers for Dan and for the Executive Team (Richard Brown, Kent Carlson, Stu Streeter, Kerry Bender, Cam Roxburgh, and Wayne Stapleton), for the staff at the international office, and for our Regional Ministers  as they continue the daily work to fulfill our corporate purposes of training churches for missional ministries, connecting churches to cross-cultural ministries, supporting and sending missionaries to our various fields, and training spiritual leaders.

Thank you for your notes of encouragement as the board has gone through this selection process. Our prayers continue for all of our churches as we make the most of the opportunities presented to us by Jesus during this COVID-19 pandemic.

Grace and Peace in our Lord Jesus Christ,

Mike McNeff
