With a steady focus on reaching Chinese ex-patriates and internationals, Nick and Iris Hung have served as NAB missionaries for more than fifteen years: first in Nigeria, then in East Asia, and – beginning in September 2024 – in Japan!
Undeterred by language challenges, the Hungs have committed to Japanese language school in pursuing their goal of ministry to the Chinese diaspora in their newly adopted country. You will not find a more joyful and excited pair of missionaries among our NAB ranks than Nick and Iris, and their excitement is contagious as they hope to not only learn another new language but also find ways of accomplishing ministry among the Chinese in their new Japanese context.
But not only will Nick and Iris Hung be changing ministry locations, the NAB will be adapting as we work in partnership with new agency friends TEAM Japan in a continuation of our relationship in Japan with the Japan Baptist Conference.
Would you join us in supporting Nick and Iris in their unique and adaptive roles in NAB International Missions? You can find out more about the Hungs, including past newsletters, at the link below.
Summertime may have ended with Labor Day this past weekend, but the memories, experiences, and lives changed for Christ at summer camps across the US, Canada, and beyond will last a lifetime. Let us celebrate together all the ways God impacted the lives of students, families, and staff across the twelve NAB camps in North America, as well as Camp Falcon Rock in Romania.
A number of the camps put together video playlists of the different groups they hosted throughout the summer:
Additionally, Camp Falcon Rock in Romania finished their last camp of the summer a few weeks ago (you can see their Summer 2024 Recap Video here), which was soon followed by an international mission trip, bringing nine young adults from Szentkiraly, Romania, to Alberta and British Columbia serving in churches, at Hope Mission, and at Camp Caroline High School Camp. You can find photos of their adventures on the Roots in Romania Facebook page.
All of this is only a snapshot of the ways God was at work through summer camps across the NAB. If you would like to learn more about NAB camps, check out the link below.
