Registration Open for Triennial 2018!

The North American Baptist International Office is excited about the upcoming 52nd Triennial Conference being held in Edmonton in July 2018!

If you have never experienced Triennial before, you don’t want to miss out. Every three years, we gather as churches from all over Canada and the US to celebrate God’s work among us. Your voice will join in worship with others. Your heart will be moved by the stories from NAB missionaries, international partners, pastors, and leaders. Your mind will gain new insights for you to take back to your local church. We would love for you to join us!

Please take some time to check out the Triennial website and plan to join us for what will be a great gathering and celebration with the NAB family! Click below for more information.

Early bird registration will be available until January 31, 2018.

Gateway Long-Term Partnerships

Randy Schmor, director of Gateway, recently returned from some great Gateway Long-Term Partnership trainings. Long-Term Partnerships (LTP), with their intended focus on long-term relationships first and foremost, present churches with a consistent way to apply missional living on a global scale. If you are a pastor or a church leader who is passionate about giving your church opportunities to live missionally in your own community, think about how a missional, relationship-based approach to global/cross-cultural partnerships would look.

We want to highlight a few of the opportunities currently available in Central Europe that your church might be interested in. Please click below to find out more about partnering with:

  • Various Roma Villages in Hungary, Serbia, and Romania—in conjunction with the initiatives of Community Health Evangelism, the opportunity exists to pursue a an LTP in one of these villages with an emerging believing community.
  • Various Hungarian Baptist Churches in Romania—the development of Camp Falcon Rock has brought these churches into a denominational relationship between the Hungarian Baptist Union-Romania and the NAB.
  • Hungarian Baptist Churches in Hungary—HBU-Hungary churches have hosted a number of teams in the past few years for the purpose of reaching their communities through English Camps.
  • They are also very open to sharing these efforts with a partnering church that will invest with them in a long-term relationship.

A Kingdom of Transformation

If you’ve read through the information about the North American Baptist Ministry Resource Fund you recently received, you’ve already discovered the stories of Rosie and Gail. You’ve read how they were transformed through the outpouring of God’s love as shown by the church.

The lives of individuals like Rosie and Gail are being transformed because of the ongoing missional and formational training, resources, and encouragement provided, in part, through support of the Ministry Resource Fund. If you haven’t already, would you read the stories with a heart of thankfulness for all God has done and a sense of anticipation for what He continues to do?

Click below to read the stories, to watch the videos, and find out how you can partner with us in these ministry efforts as we seek to resource churches for neighborhood transformation.
